One of the first questions people ask me is, "Will you do more than just listen?" After 12 years as a counselor, I've learned that meaningful therapy combines attentive listening with practical skill-building and deeper exploration.
Many people seek counseling because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in painful patterns. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can be honest about what's working, what isn't, and what you want your life or relationship to look like.. Effective counseling blends practical tools with greater self-awareness, insight, and self-acceptance. My role is to actively help you develop the insight, skills, and confidence needed to make meaningful, lasting changes
I have experience helping individuals navigate challenges including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, infidelity, dating burnout, career stress, and substance use. Together, we'll identify the patterns that are helping or hindering your progress, develop a clear and personalized plan for change, and explore the experiences that have shaped where you are today so you can move toward where you want to be.
For couples, our work begins by reducing the cycles of conflict that leave both partners feeling frustrated, disconnected, or unheard. We'll focus on improving communication, restoring affection, rebuilding trust, while identifying practical strategies that reduce tension. Once a stronger sense of safety is established, we'll explore the deeper patterns and unmet needs beneath the conflict so you can build a healthier, more connected relationship.
